Our Story: The Birth of Itspynk

I’ve always loved pink—just like you, reading this now. One day, I was laying in bed browsing Reddit when I stumbled upon a post titled: "Active subreddit for people whose favorite color is pink. No NSFW or porn!!" The post resonated deeply: "You and me both," I thought. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a space—or better yet, a store—that catered exclusively to pink lovers?

I began to daydream: Imagine walking through Manhattan and spotting a store filled entirely with pink items. Furniture, accessories, clothes—all pink. What a dream! But then it hit me: Wait… why doesn’t this exist?

💡 Idea bulb moment! I realized there had to be more people like me and that random Redditor—people who love pink and would treasure pink-themed items. And so, the journey of Itspynk began.

The Name Dilemma

Initially, I wanted to name the site something straightforward, like PinkWorld or PinkCity. But not only were those names generic (in hindsight), they were already taken. Frustrated, I hit a creative wall.

Enter: my sister. After I explained the idea, she was ecstatic. “What’s the name?” she asked. When I told her the options were taken, we were crushed. A good idea deserves a great name, after all.

As we brainstormed, I muttered: “Well, if it’s pink, the name has to have ‘pink’ in it…” 💡 Ding! Another idea bulb! “What about Itspink?” I exclaimed. My sister loved it. “Go register it before someone else does!”

But alas, Itspink was taken too. My heart sank. Yet, as all great stories go, a twist was waiting around the corner.

The “Y” That Changed Everything

While I was sulking, my sister had to leave for an eye appointment. As she grabbed her things, she reassured me: “Keep thinking—you’ll figure it out.”

“Eye appointment… Eye… ‘Eye’ is spelled with a Y, isn’t it?” 💡 Ding! The final idea bulb! What about Itspynk? My sister’s eyes lit up. “OMG, that’s even better! It’s unique and creative. GO REGISTER IT NOW!”

Fueled by adrenaline, I ran faster than I ever thought possible, reaching my laptop in record time. After a few tense moments biting my nails… the domain was available. History was made. We struck gold.

The Journey Continues

After six months of learning (and still learning!), I’m thrilled to bring you the first phase of Itspynk. This is just the beginning. With your support, I dream of making Itspynk global—the first store you can walk into where everything is pink.
